At Bumble Bee Debt Recovery we want to open and transparent about how, when and what we charge.  We, Bumble Bee Debt Recovery, will always communicate the account escalation prior to the next stage of recovery being entered into.

Please note that our client may add fees, charges and/or interest prior to passing the account to us.  All days below are approximate, to allow for weekends and bank holidays

Stage (Initial)
– No charges, interest or fees added
– Day 1 : Initial email and SMS message(s) sent
– Day 5 : Reminder email and SMS message(s) sent 5 days later
– Day 7 : Stage 1 escalation

Stage 1
– £10.00 collection fee added to the account
– Day 7 : Email and SMS message(s) sent to advise Stage 1 escalation
– Day 14 : Reminder email and SMS message(s) sent 7 days later
– Day 17 : Stage 2 escalation

Stage 2
– 8% interest to the account
– Day 17 : Email and SMS message(s) sent to advise Stage 2 escalation
– Day 24 : Reminder email and SMS message(s) sent 7 days later
– Day 27 : Stage 3 escalation

Stage 3
– £25.00 fee added to the account to cover credit, background and ID searches
– Day 27 : Email and SMS message(s) sent to advise Stage 3 escalation
– Day 34 : Reminder email and SMS message(s) sent 7 days later
– Day 41 : Stage 4 escalation

Stage 4
– Day 41 (or more) : Email and SMS message(s) sent to advise if legal action will commence
